take all actions necessary to release to the
public the report and all of the materials
accumulated in the Committee's
16 month review.
The Silk Plant Forest Citizen's Committee
completed its final report on July 16, 2009.
The report has been forwarded to the city
council, but the vast majority is still secret.
The city is pursuing a court order.
The police officers involved are in court
fighting this effort to expose the truth.

The city’s petition will next be heard January 15, 2010
in Forsyth County Superior Court.
